It is possible to publish a long and short position simultaneously

In WealthSignals it is possible to publish a long and short position simultaneously for a stock as a signal (see file attachment). However, not every broker (such as InteractiveBroker) allows this form of hedging. If a stock position is short and there is a long signal for the same stock, the position will cancel each other out and the broker will close the stock position.
How can I prevent in Wealthlab 8 that long and short positions are opened at the same time as signal for the same stock?

With kind regards
Christian

Not ideal, but clearly possible. Orders should have the proper type for the intended trade.

Agreed. Brokers handle this case differently, so there's no consensus here.

Please ask in the Wealth-Lab forum. It's a matter of programming and synchronization with the live account. WL8 Build 7 (ready tonight) have features that help with that.
